Emergency First Aid

The range of medical emergencies at the University can be vast and diverse and could include heart attack and failure, airway blockage, epileptic fits or seizures, lacerations and other types of serious injury. Each type of incident will present varying conditions and behaviors.

First Aid training will give you the skills to help prevent further injury, loss of life and hopefully keep the patient stable until the medical help arrives.

• First Aid Referesher (Level 2)
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

All first aid courses are no longer scheduled and booked via the Human Resources Staff Development Unit.
