28 May 2009: Handwashing and Cough/Sneeze Etiquette Posters

The following replicates information sent to EHS Coordinators on 28 May 2009.

As part of the University's response to the identification of H1N1 (Human Swine) Influenza in Victoria, we have commenced a promotional campaign to limit potential transmission by educating staff and students about handwashing and cough/sneeze etiquette.

The following posters from the Department of Human Services will be used:

Building supervisors have already commenced installing the posters in toilets/washrooms in teaching space buildings.

We ask that EHS Coordinators also install these posters in local bathrooms, offices, laboratories and other suitable public spaces. Pre-printed copies of these posters are available from the Digital Print Centre Customer Service Pod located in the Old Mail Room in the Alice Hoy building (entrance from Porter's Lane - grid ref I 19 on the campus map at http://www.pb.unimelb.edu.au/CampusMaps/Parkville.pdf).

For non-Parkville campuses, please contact ehs-info@unimelb.edu.au and quote the number of posters you require, and we will distribute via internal mail.
